Recruiting Applicants for Upcoming Police Officer and Trooper Civil Service Exam

The Worcester NAACP started the New Year by continuing to assist the Worcester Police Department in their efforts to increase the number of minority, women and LGBTQ officers. Sgt. Miguel Lopez, WPD and Dr. Malika Carter, Chief Diversity Officer, City of Worcester presented information explaining how to apply for the civil service examination, how to prepare for the exam and the vetting process for prospective candidates for the police academy.

The application deadline for the 2017 Police Officer and Trooper exam is February 21, 2017. The written exam date is March 25, 2017.
